Built by learners, for learners

Quizatto exists because we couldn't find the tool we wanted to use ourselves. We're a team of constant learners — of languages, of licensures, of whatever we're curious about next — and the study tools on the market kept asking us to choose between power and pleasure: research-grade scheduling wrapped in interfaces from another decade, or delightful apps built on shallow learning science. We decided the choice was false, and set out to prove it.

Your way, not our way

Everyone learns differently — that isn't a slogan, it's a design constraint. Some people think in flashcards; others need the pressure of a timer, the texture of typing an answer out, or the sound of a word in their ears before it sticks. So Quizatto doesn't force a single method on you. Flip through classic flashcards, drill with multiple choice, type answers and get credit for close calls, train your listening with spoken prompts, race a speed round, or match pairs — the same deck, studied the way your brain prefers today. Beneath every mode runs the same scheduling engine, so however you choose to study, the science is working for you.

Grounded in memory science

We didn't invent the ideas underneath Quizatto, and we think that's a strength. A century of research — from Ebbinghaus's forgetting curve to modern spaced-repetition models — tells us how durable memory is actually built: retrieval, spacing, honest feedback. Quizatto schedules every card with FSRS, the same memory model trusted by the most serious learning tools in the world, and we write openly about the science we build on.

Human-centric, by conviction

We are a human-centric company. We believe AI is a multiplier — extraordinary when it amplifies human effort, judgment, and curiosity, and hollow when it's asked to replace them. Learning is the clearest case there is: no model can remember something for you. Understanding is not outsourceable.

So we hold a simple line. Where machine intelligence sharpens your studying — a scheduling model fit on hundreds of millions of real reviews, deciding the perfect moment to show you a card — we use it without hesitation. What to learn, how to study, and the work of knowing: those remain yours. We build tools that make humans more capable, and we measure ourselves by what our learners can do without us in the room.

Where we're headed

Quizatto is on iPhone and the web today, with more on the way. If you're the kind of person who's always learning something — join us. And if something in the app doesn't serve the way you learn, tell us. That's the product working as designed.
